What have you been able to accomplish during the off-season that will help you be a better player this season?

I wrestle in the off season and won the heavyweight state championship.

What is the most difficult part of playing on the offensive line?

The constant strain to keep good body position and hand placement.

How important is spring ball as far as helping the team get ready for the upcoming season?

It is very important as it gives us a blueprint for what the season will look like.

How would your coach and teammates describe you?

They would say I am a leader team player and a very hard worker.

Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models for the younger kids who come and watch you play?

100% we love making everyone feel welcome.

Who is the best player you have faced, along with the team he played for, and what made him so tough?

The toughest players I’ve faced are Selah Brown and Jeremiah Lightfoot.

Who has the best team you have ever faced, and what made them so good?

Male in 2021 had a dominant defensive line that we dethroned.

With this being your season, are you approaching things any differently?

I am putting my all in as always and bringing teammates with me.

Who is the one team you most want to beat this season, and why?

I would like to beat Trinity and Male one more time at St x.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?

None.

What sports do you play for Louisville St. Xavier, along with the one you enjoy the most?

I wrestle along with playing football. I enjoy football the most.

Have you heard from any college coaches, and if so, could you name some of the schools?

Yes. EKU, WKU, WOFFORD, KWC, TIFFIN, DAYTON, MURRY STATE, and more.

Where is the best spot in town to grab a bite?

My favorite is a small Mexican restaurant by my house called yellow cactus.

What is your favorite music genre, along with your favorite song and artist?

I love Country and Chris Stapleton.

What is your favorite sport to watch on TV or in person?

Football

I've known Carter since he was little since my son played baseball with his older brother and he is a great kid and hard worker. I'm glad to see him doing well. His dad, Steve Guillaume, was good O-Lineman for St. X and played in the state championship game in early 90's when lost to Clark County.
