New field for John Hardin in 2023

Featured Replies

With less than a month before the 2023  Kentucky High School football season starts, this is where North Hardin and John Hardin stand on their Turf Field installation as of July 24th.

John Hardin's first scheduled home game is August 25th vs. Green County

John Hardin still needs to have the goalposts installed and the current work on student bleachers on the south end of the field is still weeks away from completion. The field look great with the big Bulldog in the middle of the field. In my opinion, this will be the best place to watch a football game in Hardin County once complete.

North Hardin's first home game is September 8th vs Daviess County.

There is a lot of work ahead to get the North Hardin's Field ready for September 8th.

I love it, especially the no track part.

Yes, the fans are right on top of you on the field. I love walking into the top of the stadium entrance and looking down over the field. There has been some great HS football games played here such as the John Hardin state semifinal  in 2012 where Bowling Green won the game on a hook and ladder play and a 2 point conversion after John had been the better team for 3 1/2 quarters.  I believe both teams were undefeated heading into that game. Still the best high school game I have ever attended.
