Tilghman never trailed until just over 5:00 left in the 4th quarter, but it wasn't enough. They led by 11 midway through the 3rd before a very quick 8-0 run by McCracken to pull it close. The Mustangs used another flurry in the 4th to put the Tornado away. 

Shaw led Tilghman with 21 points, McCune led McCracken with 26.

I watched the game on u-tube PT TV and I thought PT would win easily after the quick start and McCracken's problems with the press. In the end McCracken may have been deeper off the bench?

Yes, McCracken has several guys who can come off the bench who can make significant contributions. Outside of Tilghman's top 2 scorers, it's a struggle at times for them. McCune can just flat out take over a game for McCracken it seems like whenever he needs to. 

 

 

I would have never believed that any Region 1 team would ever beat Paducah Tilghman 16 out of 17 times according to KHSAA website.  I would (almost) say that no team has even a winning record vs Paducah Tilghman in western Ky. Maybe Marshall Co might have a winning record but not sure.
