Tigers fouled Damone King with 3.2 seconds left with 1pt lead. King hit both free throws and St. X decent look from 3 at buzzer doesn't fall and the Crimsons get the win at home moving to 2-2. St. X is also 2-2.

Yeah, missed some free throws and two technical fouls during the game came back to haunt them.

I got to pick this game up with about 1:23 left in the 4th quarter (had an archery shoot going on at the same time on campus).  Great action at the end.  Both teams played very hard.  Manual had a nice play drawn up to hit a clutch 3 to take a one point lead with just under a minute to go.  Then St X point guard made a terrific layup to give the lead back to the men in green.  Manual called TO with about 7.5 seconds to go.  They inbounded the ball to King who made a nice drive and was fouled.  It was a foul, but also felt that was a tough call on X because it wasn't a significant foul I don't think.  Anyway, King made both free throws.  X had a good inbound play set up at 3.1 left on the clock and got the ball to their point guard who got up a good look really from 3 but it was long and Manual rebounded as the clock ran out.  Great early season game for both teams.

I saw the highlights on social media of the ending... the X defender puts two hands on the Manual player but seemed like a tough call to make though. I wasn't there so if that was how the game was being called then I'm good with it, but it just didn't seem to be much there.
