Open Job: Butler

Featured Replies

Butler Traditional is open. Coach Koby Clark, a Miami, FL native, was hired in May, 2021. Coach Clark is a UofL football alum and had been on the football coaching staff at Male prior to taking the job at Butler.

The Bears were 1-10 and 2-9 in their two seasons under Coach Clark.

Butler being traditional has to compete with Male for players so they get basically who Male doesn't want or kids that live close to Butler and want to go there for that reason. Latest enrollment numbers have them going to 5A which is probably better since they will get out of district with St. X, Manual, and Pleasure Ridge Park. Not sure who might want this job since will be serious rebuild.

Moving to 5A certainly won't do them any favors either.

It will help them as far as district will be weaker but beyond that I agree.

Captain Obvious here, but that’s how you start the building process- giving yourself a chance in your district.
