Pikeville won the regular season matchup on the road  36-0.  Pikeville will host the Paintsville Tigers in this matchup. 
 

Who wins this 3rd round Class 1A matchup? Does Pikeville continue its dominance over Class 1A? Does Paintsville upset Pikeville at home?

It's always hard to beat a team twice, but I think Pikeville is built for it.  Maybe closer then the first matchup though.

I think Birchfield has his first big game of the playoffs tonight. Still won't be four quarters, but I'll predict he at least gets into double digits in carries.

That dog wants to hunt, they may let him stretch his legs some prior to the last two weeks of the season.

They've had the opportunity to refine some things the last several weeks while saving his legs. And they know they can rev him up anytime they want. Tonight would be a good time to start the final push in his Mr. Football campaign.

I agree.  I think he gets some carries tonight.  Probably not as much as you and I would like to see, but he will get some opportunities to bust a few for long yardage.  How many, will be determined by him I think.  I'm calling 12 carries.
