Boone vs. NDA II

Featured Replies

Boone will press in the first half of this game and not wait until the 4th qtr.

Bradley will take care of the ball better in this game and limit her first half turnovers that hurt them in the first game. Behrens is now settling in with the rest of the team and they are getting better because of it. Seem to be focused in more after the Coach took their cell-phones away in Tenn.:thumb:

To much use of their bench will wear NDA down.

NDA will not make any adjustments from the last meeting. Will still try to pound it inside. Which is where their strength is, but if you take that away

from them they don't know how to react(at least it would seem that way). Tierney won't match last games performance all year let alone against the Lady Rebels.

Boone by 10 to 15.

Although the game will likely attract a pretty good crowd and attention here, I would think that neither coach will likely tip their hat as to what to expect for the possible match-up during the regionals. (Certainly not counting out New Cath or Conner but the 9th is going to have to go through NDA/Boone.) The only thing that the winner of this game will lay claim to is the large school NKAC crown which doesn't mean beans compared to the Sweet 16 bid.

I was actually surprised to hear that Coach Fookes pressed at all during the first meeting during the Christmas tournament. My guess is NDA will need to get better athletes and less size on the floor when the press comes at them- a true point guard or two wouldn't hurt either.

Ranger....You statement about the Point Guard is exactly right on!! Last game that is what killed Notre Dame once Boone turned up the press. They will need a big performance from there Point against the Rebels. Either way both teams are definitely better than right before Christmas. It should be another great one. But i still don't see it topping the classic of the first matchup. That game was just incredible.

One thing I think NDA should do is when the little Freshman point guard comes in, clear out and who ever she is guarding post her up.

Becoming a HUGE problem for coaches. You get on the bus and they want to be on the phone the whole bus ride there and as soon as the game is over back on the phone talking to this week's boyfriend/girlfriend.

They are teenage girls.

Getting closer to tip off I believe that NDA comes out fired up and wins 58-53. Jackson has the hot hand and leads the Pandas to victory.
