I think Mason Co will be the only team to fall this week.

Southwestern and Mason County fell in the semis, leaving us with five teams vying for perfection this weekend. Thanks to Class 3A, we're assured of at least one undefeated champion.

Class 2A

Mayfield (14-0) vs. Beechwood

Class 3A

CAL (14-0) vs. Bardstown (14-0)

Class 4A

Corbin (14-0) vs. Boyle County

Class 5A

Frederick Douglass (14-0) vs. Bowling Green

Mayfield and Corbin lost heartbreakers and Bardstown was dispatched by Christian Academy of Louisville, meaning the Centurions and Frederick Douglass are the only two teams to emerge unscathed from the gauntlet of the 2022 season.

They'll ride 15 game win streaks into Week 1 of 2023.
