Would you be in favor of increasing a FG from 3 to 4 points if it is kicked from say 50 or maybe 55 yards out? Could a 60 yarder then be worth 5 points for the team with the courage to try one?

Just seeing the incredible range of many college and pro kickers, I'd like to see an extra point or two given for extra long field goals. It's the same line of thinking that led to a 3 point basket in basketball. 

I'd love to see a coach squirm over the decision to attempt a 60 yard FG for 5 points versus giving the other team great position if they miss it.

Kickers would become true weapons and not just an after thought for all but the last two minutes of each half.

Fine the way it is.

I'd rather see any field goal under 50 be 2 points and 51+ be 3.
