Logan has been thriving for awhile now under Coach Adler. You keep waiting for them to drop off… they keep getting better.

It helps that Russellville took huge steps back with the sole exception of last year’s fifth year senior edition. Logan Counry has always had the money, the facilities, and the size of the school, but really weren’t keeping/attracting talent that would end up across town. Adler has changed that in a massive way.

I have to respectfully disagree about a shift in the talent. Aside from the Woodard kid, Logan is winning with Logan kids who have been in the Logan system all their lives. Logan has always had a couple of kids that we all stopped and said, “Man, they should be better than they are with those kids…” The difference now is that they are maximizing what they have. 
 

The only significant Logan kid (aside from last year when Baptiste and Woodard did their 5th year at RHS) I can think of that went to RHS was the Dickerson kid.

I think Logan can match Greenwood offensively but Greenwood’s defense was better. Greenwood was very good against the FS running game. I would predict Greenwood to win by a touchdown or maybe two. Something like 42-28 maybe. Hard to say for sure though because FS didn’t do much passing against Greenwood. Logan may be able to get them through the air.
