Raceland Schedule 2007

Featured Replies

OPne thing to keep in mind is that the Rams have off season conditioning, spring workouts and practice, pre season practice and camp, scrimmage games, EKC grid o Rama and 8 regular season games before the game with Russell. I am sure that the Raceland coaches will keep them focused on one game, one play at a time. Although the Russell game will be huge for the communities, fans, pride and all it is NOT a district game and will not put you in the playoffs. In other words ther is A LOT of football to be played before then.

P.S. = Can anyone imagine how many pages on BGP the Raceland/Russell game thread will be by the time that it gets here next season! :scared:It will probably get "the padlock" a couple of times also.

What do all you Ram Fans think about being back in the NEKC?

I think its a good thing, I remember Raceland always being a force in the NEKC and look forward to seeing it again.

I was also glad to see Paintsville back on the schedule. Brings back memories of then they were in our district, and of Coach Brugh and Coach Bill Tom Ross two chess players managing the game.

I am not against it at all and it is fine with me. I really just would rather concentrate on the district bc that is what gets you to the playoffs. District is much more important.

:thumb: Those were some real battles between two excellent teams and two legendary coaches.

Guys it is the EKC not the NEKC. The EKC stands for the Eastern Kentucky Conference.

NEKC was a conference in the 80's and 90's.

By fault. I'm telling my age as well. I always think of Eastern Kentucky as Pike and the surrounding areas.

:thumb: There are some schools in this conference that were not playing football in the 60's and early 70's. I don't like the term that we are 'Old", I prefer "Well Seasoned". ;) ..............................O.K., yeah it is still old no matter how you sugar coat it.:D
