#3 Todd Jacobs:

#13 Kurt Bovard: All state WR for the AAA State Champion CovCath football team and as thus just getting his basketball legs back)

#44 Billy Schult: Who was injured in a scrimmage game, playing in what is only his second game back....

#20 Brandon Brown: IMO the MVP of the CovCath football team, was on last years team as maybe the 7th/8th man in last year. Was and is the best defender on the team...

None of the others on the team, had much more than a little varsity playing time. All were on the JV team.....but oh what a JV team.....

Given this info and seeing the game Friday the best player I saw on the CCH squad was #3 Jacobs (this kid can play). Maybe Schult will get stronger as the season goes, but he wasn't a dominant 6'7" or at least as dominant as one would think with undersized opponents:sssh:

Todd Jacobs is undoubtedly the best player on team, and Schult is barely 6"5. Aaron Noll (6"7, #40) was the starter on Friday. Lastly McDavid and Bonner are solid inside players.

Comfy suburban boys, right?

Exactly.

Actually, where's my butler? I haven't eaten my mid-day snack yet.

Is he polishing the silverware?

Perhaps he's iroing your jodhpurs, to have them ready in time for the next chukker?

I have to tell you, that growing up in my old neighborhood, we were so poor, that we occasionally had to shag our own tennis balls at the country club.

Heck - I was seven years old before I found out that argyle socks were not to be worn after Labor Day when attending Broadway shows.
