High School soccer is right around the corner and I am so excited for it to get here.  Before that occurs we have the end of the season Ky Presidents & State Cup Tournaments going on.  The Presidents Cup Preliminary Round was held this past weekend in Lexington & Woodford County locations, with the Semis and Finals being held this coming weekend in Bowling Green.

To show some love with my NKY soccer fanatics here are the teams from the NKY that qualified for this upcoming weekend (this tourney is for U13-U19 age groups, b/c I am more interested in the High School aged players I am only going to highlight U16- U19 teams below)

GIRLS

Looks like Kings Hammer is well represented.  I'll add U15 boys to your list as they are Freshman going into Sophomore year.

Boys NKY Fusion 07 Green

Unfortunately, these two teams play in the first quarter final round Saturday morning in Bowling Green.  Would have liked to have seen these two play in the semis or the finals.  Both are 3-0 in the tournament.

The U16 boys Kings South team and the U16 girls Fusion Lightning represented KY at the Midwest regionals in St Louis this past weekend.  Unfortunately neither advanced to Nationals but it was a fun experience.  I am not familiar with all the members of the boys team but the girls team had girls from St. Henry (1), Walton Verona (2), Dixie (3), Holy Cross (3), Simon Kenton (3), Conner (1), Beechwood (2), Brossart (1).
