I just read the playoff brackets for the boys state Lacrosse tournament. How do the two top ranked teams in the state (St X and South Oldham) end up on the same side of the brackets? Outside of a really good explanation it takes on the appearance of protecting a Trinity vs St X final.

Can someone explain this! 

With both South Oldham and St X winning on Monday sets up a Wednesday evening showdown between the two top ranked teams. Guess the state championship will be played Wednesday! Good luck guys!

Not a big fan of St X Lax coach.  They are a very good team but beat CAL 34-2 in last game.

I understand you want to keep your team sharp and play to the end, but in my book that is poor sportsmanship.  No need for it.  Lacrosse is such a top heavy sport.
