We finished the regular season and now move to the best part of the season which is the post season. This past week's game of the week was not close as the Ballard Bruins made a statement beating Manual 87-52. Ballard had 3 double-figure scorers with Kennedy Hayden (26), Gabe Sisk (18), and Maker Bar (15). Maker Bar also had 9 rebounds and Gabe Sisk had 8. Manual only had two double-figure scorers with Damone King (19) and Tobias Jones (11). Male ended the season with a close OT 78-77 loss to Cathedral (IN) who is ranked #3 in Indiana by the Sagarin computer ratings. Kaleb Glenn had another monster game with 33 points and 20 rebounds. The district tournaments start this week which will set the stage for a great 7th Region tournament.

25th District

St. Francis vs. Portland Christian, 2/21, at Shawnee

Manual vs. winner of St. Francis/Portland Christian, 2/22, at Shawnee

Central vs. Shawnee, 2/22, at Shawnee

Final on 2/25 at Shawnee.

Manual is the clear favorite to win the district. Shawnee beat Central 66-60 on 2/4, so this should be another close game to see who advances to the final.

26th District

Male vs. Brown, 2/22, at St. Xavier

St. Xavier vs. Collegiate, 2/22, at St. Xavier

Final on 2/24 at St. Xavier.

Male and St. X should have no trouble advancing to the final and Male will be the heavy favorite to win the district.

27th District

Atherton vs. Highlands Latin, 2/21, at Waggener

Trinity vs. Atherton/Highlands Latin winner,2/23, at Waggener

Waggener vs. Seneca, 2/23, at Waggener

Final on 2/25 at Waggener

Trinity is the heavy favorite to win this district. Seneca beat Waggener 55-53 on 2/15, so should be another close one to see who advances to the final.

28th District

Ballard vs. KY Country Day, 2/22, at Ballard

Christian Academy-Louisville vs. Eastern, 2/22, at Ballard

Final on 2/24 at Ballard

Ballard is the heavy favorite to win this district. Eastern beat CAL 71-51 on 2/8, but CAL is talented and it would not be a surprise if they avenge the earlier loss.

I saw he got a offer from Pikeville for football. I personally think he should gets some bigger offers.
