Danville 66 Garrard 62

Danville proves they still wanna win in back and fourth battle until hitting key free throws late in the game. Hayden hit some key shots but Dunn and Bryant with big plays and solid performances from Hannibal, Hill and Brown pull Admirals a huge District win. Great win for Coach McKinney and crew.

Good win for Danville. This was nip-and-tuck all night until Danville made a little run in the fourth quarter, pushing the lead to seven. Garrard cut it to one once but could get no closer.

With neither team having played a district game against DCA and with Boyle/Lincoln still having a game to go, at this moment it’s very hard to tell what the district seeding will look like.

Watched this game online, very good competitive game. I like the small lineup Ed used. Qusinberry is good as they come. He was easily the best player on the court. Qusinberry and Brown match up is going to be worth the price of admission the next 3 years. Both are great players. Ethan Cooper couldn't get going tonight, but some was great defense Danville put on him. I also like how Jackson plays for Danville, he does a lot of good stuff for Danville. Like I said before Jaylen Dunn is Mr. Do it all for Danville, kid plays his heart out. Love watching him compete, he gets rebounds he has no business getting, but somehow does. Mason Sulla getting in foul trouble hurt Garrard, that kid is HUGE, he has to play football. All in all Hayden, Dunn, Brown and Bryant did enough to steal a win on the road. Congrats to Ed and his team.

Quisenberry is a great athlete but that shows that if you slow either Cooper or Quisenberry down you beat Garrard. Great game plan by Ed. Sulla is a monster on the block and Danville played very physical and negated his size some. Garrard has some players but none look to really score the ball. Most shots come from # 5 and # 0. Great win for Admirals.

Top to bottom the 45th is super tough this season. This score surprised me.
