For the first time since 2005 UConn women's basketball team is not ranked in the top 10. That's incredible. 

Has any men's team ever done that? I would venture to say that no team has been that consistently dominant in any sport in history. 

The Celtics had a 13 year run of greatness, then a losing record the next year. No one else comes to mind of being dominant for 16 years in a row as UConn has done.

The Harlem Globetrotters have a win percentage of .987. Just sayin...

Hard to believe that, for a team like UCONN, 1 player makes that much of a difference.   For close to the last 20 years, I've always though of them as a next woman up kind of a team.   To hear Geno say that without Paige on the floor he doesn't trust his team says a lot.  The rest of Women's basketball has caught up, just like they did to Pat Summit a couple decades earlier.
