The Ludlow Panthers are striving to become 10th Region champions, having defeated Pendleton County on Tuesday night and taking out Brossart three days later.

The Mustangs were limited to 5 points in second quarter, allowing Ludlow to take a 22-19 lead to the locker room at halftime.  Ludlow pushed ahead 34-30 after three quarters, but Brossart's Logan Woosley come out on fire to start the fourth quarter, putting up 8 unanswered, giving the Mustangs a 38-34 advantage and drawing a Dan Sullivan time-out.  Whatever he said worked, as the Panthers answered with six unanswered drawing a Scott Code timeout.  

The deciding basket was a three-pointer, at plus-NBA range by Gavin Anderson, putting the Panthers on top 51-48, and a pair of Gavin Anderson free-throws put it in the win column for Ludlow. 

Woosley led all scorers with 22 on the night  and classmate (Juniors) Luke Schumacher added 14.  Ludlow forced 16 Mustangs turnovers, and we shot 7 of 27 from beyond the arc.

Ludlow was led to their second victory in as many starts, by Matthew Griffin with 14, and Jaxson Rice with 13.  The Panthers connected on 8 3-pointers, and had a four point advantage from the free-throw line 13 of 19 to 9 of 12.
