Humphreys may be at a disadvantage when it comes to visibility on the biggest stages of the playoffs. Barring some monumental upsets, he could be sitting at home while Hergott, Sivori, and maybe a few others are playing for state championships with opportunities to make one last case for Mr. Football. Good point. IMO Hergott's great performance in the semi finals at West Carter along with leading Beechwood to the upset championship win is what led to him winning Mr. Football.

He has played QB, RB, and WR. He also passed for 372 yards and had 307 yards receiving last year. This season, in addition to 58 tackles and an interception on defense, his offensive plays from scrimmage have accounted for: 1,902 total yards 70 receptions for 1,166 yards 62 rushes for 736 yards 14.4 yards per touch 22 touchdowns On average, he scores a TD every 6 touches. He is leading the state in receiving yards and is the first 1,000 season receiver in school history. In addition, he is now third on the school career scoring list, just 16 points away from the leader. In the 49-22 win last week, he had 4 touchdowns and 246 combined yards on 10 touches.
