nkypete
I was expecting to see Hergott run a lot. He ran only once (and that was out of necessity). He was extremely productive through the air. He has lots of weapons. I was proud of the Indians. Obviously overmatched, but fought to the end to score a TD. I believe that both teams came out healthy.
nkypete
If there was anything that could be a yellow flag for the Tigers from this game is the fact that Beechwood quarterbacks were sacked 4 times (Hergott 3 of those). I'm sure that will get addressed.
Voice of Reason
After 1 play in the second quarter, Beechwood led 35-0. At that point, Hergott was 9 for 10 passing, 218 yards and 4 TD passes. Beechwood ran 11 plays with all passes except 1 yard TD run by Avery Courtney. Tigers clearly worked on the passing game in this one.
