Trinity 42 St. Xavier 18 (Frosh)

Featured Replies

St. X went up 12-0 and then gave up 42 unanswered points. Trinity QB made some big throws against St. X secondary that didn't look good today. Both teams play again next week.

Man, didn’t see this one coming. Hope for a better result next week.

Wow! A little stunned.

I'll admit I have not see the baby Rocks play yet but have not heard good things. And all I have heard from the St. X folks at church is how this was the best freshman team in a long, long time on Poplar Level Road.

Seems like all my intel was wrong.

Only thing I know is the Trinity QB is the son of former Rock standout Craig Desensi. He was the QB that took over when Jeff Brohm graduated and Craig was a really, really good QB.

I go to all X frosh games. I felt they were good offensive team and average on defense. I think X secondary just were bad in coverage. They had one starting DB out injured but wouldn't think would make that big of difference. I think Trinity has improved from earlier games. They have a lot of size in lines. I'll be interested in seeing if X plays better next week which I don't think they could have played worse.
