This is a good matchup between cross town rivals. John Hardin and state leading rusher Keyandre Strand vs. the Central Hardin defensive front. Central Hardin wide receivers/tight ends vs. John Hardin's undersized secondary. John Hardin's resurgence under coach Doug Preston vs. a Central Hardin team that has seen improvement in all phases of the game. This game has it all! Wouldn't want to be anywhere else than John Hardin High school this Friday night.

Central Hardin can go 3 deep at running back with no noticeable drop off in production. They also have 2 TEs that are 6'4" and 6'3" that are tough to handle by undersized LBs, and a QB who has shown an improvement game to game in his decision making and a willingness to take the ball, when things break down, and make plays with his feet. All this adds up to Central Hardin coming out on top in this one.

My Prediction.

Central Hardin 32

John Hardin 21

I think thats a fair score.  John Hardin is a really solid team, but lacks depth. Central will focus on Strand and probably has better edge defense than anyone John Hardin has played to date.

Central Hardin leading rusher, Treyvon Williams,  is out for the season with a torn ACL/MCL. Next man up! Fortunately there is depth at the RB position. He was also a cornerback on the defensive side. He will be missed but injuries are a part of the game and you have to overcome them during the season and find a way to continue winning games.

If this could be played with JH team this year and CH team from last year I think JH would win unfortunately it didn’t work out like that but I think it will still be a incredibly competitive game.

CH intercepts a pass from JH and drives down to the 10 yard line and turns it over on downs.
