Malibu Jacks is coming to Ashland where the kyova mall was. It is being turned into a multi-use complex. The paper says it is expected to be 140,000 square feet which would be even larger than the one in Louisville and Lexington. Lexington is 100,000 square feet. Malibu Jacks projects the Ashland  location to be #1 in the state in terms of revenue.

I've never seen more than maybe 15 cars out front of the location in Louisville.

This should be a big hit in  Ashland and surrounding areas because we don't have anything like that around here. Blue ribbon lanes bowling alley shut down in Ashland. That was where  a lot of people in the Ashland area went for fun.

There is a blueprint for the new Camp Landing Entertainment District on WSAZ news channel 3's website if anyone wants to see what else they plan on doing to the complex.

Took my ten year old to the one in Lexington earlier this summer. It was a lot of fun. Place was pretty crowded although being a Friday night might have something to do with that. Hope it does well.
