March 29, 20215 yr It may yet work out for UCLA but I’ve seen several times in the last few days that a team up three failed to foul as the clock ticked under five seconds to prevent a three for the tie. Cronin let them go the distance with 4 seconds left without a foul.

March 29, 20215 yr I wouldn’t have given a plug nickel for UCLA’s chances after the 3 at the end of regulation. As is often the case, I would have been wrong. Failure to make free throws can be a killer, as DF said.
