Wow, Alabama is getting ripped by the officials in the last two minutes.

Instant replay misuse. What happened to conclusive proof? More and more I see subjective decisions made on replays where there isn't conclusive proof to overturn a call.

It may yet work out for UCLA but I’ve seen several times in the last few days that a team up three failed to foul as the clock ticked under five seconds to prevent a three for the tie. Cronin let them go the distance with 4 seconds left without a foul.

For a program that has seldom even been in this position, and probably never as a favorite, this is incredibly disappointing for Alabama.

I wouldn’t have given a plug nickel for UCLA’s chances after the 3 at the end of regulation.  As is often the case, I would have been wrong. 

Failure to make free throws can be a killer, as DF said.
