ColonelMike
Carroll only won one game all season - but this result is no surprise whatsoever. The Panthers ALWAYS play Gallatin tight....even this year, in a year in which Carroll won just 1 of 13 regular season games, the Panthers lost two games by a total of just 7 points to Gallatin County. Looks like this was a great game for first round action....
Mack The Knife
A carbon copy of the first game in Warsaw. The Panthers only field goal of the first half came with 2:20 left in the second quarter as Gallatin took a 22-7 halftime lead. Carroll cut the lead to 34-32 after three quarters and took a 38-36 midway through the final quarter. The Wildcats regained the lead and led 50-48 with 5 seconds remaining. After a pair of missed free throws (Gallatin was 8 for 21), Carroll missed a game tying attempt at the buzzer. Gallatin advances to face top seeded Owen County at 6:00 tonight in New Castle. 1
