I think it been since 2004 that Wayne hasn’t made the region.

They missed out in 2006, also losing to Southwestern in the first round of the district. Prior to that their last miss came in 1993. The 2004 team won the region and then lost to Mason County in the first round of the state tournament.

I was thinking 2006 but put 2004 by mistake.  It went a while.
