Open Job: Dawson Springs

Featured Replies

What is going on In Dawson Springs? HeAring they made a coaching change. Coach Hicks does a great job and did a great job promoting this program and players. Hope it is not health related!

I was the coach and all I am going to say is, what caused the situation I would do a 1000 times over even if this is the result and I did not resign even though I signed the letter. I would say more but going to take the high road. I did nothing wrong.

Glad it is not health related. You did a great job with those kids. If you want to stay in coaching I am sure you will land on your feet! It is the schools loss!

Dawson Springs coach Jim Hicks resigned earlier last week and interim coach Charlie Pace will coach the remainder of the season. Any front runners for this job? Will pace take the reigns.

Not a good situation right now, they will be hard pressed to find a good coach as the parents are running the show.

Coach Pace is probably done with boys next yr and Middle school coach / asst varsity coach Skyler Storms is probably the front runner, at only 21 yrs old he is not bad. Unless a more expierenced coach applies.

21 year old head coach? That tells you that there are some major problems in this program and someone in a leadership position is more interested in making a daddy happy than winning?

Mickey Blue from from Webster co. I am pretty sure first time as a head coach.

I passed down info on the team last week. Seems to be a good guy and motivated. Hope he knows what he is in for.
