Tough job as will never make it past 2nd round being in same district as Trinity. Also have to contend with Ballard.

Eastern Athletics has been on the decline.  Christian Academy of Louisville is focusing more on sports and takes solid athletes from Middletown and the rest of the East End which effects Easterns enrollment.  When it comes to open enrollment Eastern probably isn't a top 3 choice like it used to be. Honestly waiting to see if they bump down to 5A.

I agree but are still doing well in basketball.

They are the 3rd biggest public school according to last year's enrollment numbers- over 2100 total and over 1100 boys.

Haha, maybe. But yeah, I don't see them moving down anytime soon, if ever.
