7th Region Week 4 Review

 We have finished the last week of private schools only playing, and the public schools all start playing this week. We have a new #1 as Ballard PG Jack Edelen injured his foot and is out for the season, so Male moved to #1 and Ballard down to #2. Ballard will still be very good and still a contender for the Region 7 championship. The game of the week should be Friday with #2 Ballard and #3 Eastern playing at Ballard. Another good matchup is #4 Seneca and #5 St. Xavier on Wednesday at St. X. Let's review how the teams did this past week:

Lost to DeSales 81-58, and St.X was led by Cole Sherman with 12 pts and Mekhi Smith with 8 rebounds.

Beat Collins 61-57, and St. X was led by Ben Varga with 23 pts.

Lost to Montgomery County 88-81 in double overtime, and Trinity was led by the trio of Miles Franklin, Will McMillan, and Ethan Hodge with all 3 scoring 18 pts.

Lost to Lexington Catholic 89-78, and CAL was led by George Washington with 36 pts and Conner Haun with 14 rebounds.

Beat Bullitt Central 79-48, and CAL was led by the duo of George Washington and Stephen Wearsch with both scoring 16 pts.

Beat John Hardin 72-70, and CAL was led by the duo of George Washington and Stephen Wearsch with both scoring 22 pts.
