Rare 1 vs. 4 seed upset watch focused on Corbin

The Hounds have successfully hunted down and defeated six straight opponents since dropping their opener to Beechwood. They avoided a near hiccup against Lincoln County in a 14-8 defensive struggle on October 16th that saw Corbin turn the Patriots away twice at the goal line. Seth Mills carried the mail for the Redhounds that night, rushing for 150 yards and both touchdowns, while FBS recruits Trayveon Longmire and Dakota Patterson were virtually non-existent, offensively.

In its regular season finale, Lincoln County righted the ship against Rockcastle County to end a three game skid, thanks in large part to a big night from running back Clayton Davis. He sits on the verge of a thousand yards rushing, with one of his best performances this year coming against the Redhounds.

Lincoln County is a ground and pound team that will try to control tempo. Corbin has a more balanced approach on offense, and a decided edge in talent. So much of the outcome here depends on Corbin's willingness and ability to put the ball in the hands of its playmakers. Another game like the first one benefits the fourth seeded Patriots.

Definitely not overlooking Lincoln County. Very solid team.

Lincoln is having a good season but they blew their chance to pull a surprise.  I think Corbin gets them by at least 2 scores this time around.

Nice win for Corbin!
