North Hardin 38 Barren County 6

Close for a half. Barren County has improved tremendously in the last couple years, but it seemed like North Hardin was sleepwalking in the first half.

Barren fought hard but North was just to much but BC beat Central and has a real chance against Meade so it’s feasible they could have two districts wins in a season since I think 88 but I’m not positive.

Barren County was 2-2 in district play in 2013. Prior to that, last season with 2+ district wins was 2001 when they went 3-3. Last time the Trojans were above .500 in district play was 2000 when they went 4-1 and finished in a three way tie for first with Apollo and Daviess County.

Great information I knew when they got locked into that district with the Bowling Green schools I think they only won one game the whole time they were in that district. I thought at the time moving up in class wouldn’t benefit them much with both the Hardin Co schools being really good last year and Meade is normally tough but I’m starting to change my mind I don’t think the district they’re in now while still tough just won’t be nearly as consistently good as the Bowling Green schools.
