The Aces landed a first quarter haymaker and put up a fight defensively against Owensboro in Week 5. They eventually succumbed to the bigger, more talented Red Devils, but the surprisingly competitive game was a good look for OCath (4-1) moving forward, as they wade back into district play. They travel to Hancock County this Friday in a matchup that should draw more interest than anyone would have imagined before the season began. The Hornets (4-0) are off to their best start in twenty years, due largely to a defense allowing just 11 points per game. A win over the Aces would be the program's biggest in ages. 

Owensboro Catholic has won ten in a row against their long time district mates, including the last seven by four scores or more.

I’m going with the upset Hancock 20-17.

OCath probably starts slow with it being their first road game and coming off back to back emotional games in McLean and OHS. But they get it going and pull away. 35-7.
