Nice road win for Holmes, the new Boyd County stadium has to be one of the nicest high school facilities in Ky, nice folks and beautiful place to watch a game. It is a haul from Covington, some of these districts are hard to figure out. On to the game, Boyd County is so much improved from last year, they got off to a tuff start, fumbled the opening kick off, which a few plays later Holmes scores a td, then on the next series, on about the third play, they fumble again, Holmes up 14 to 0 early, but once things settled in, Boyd County was moving the ball and scored to make a halftime score of 14 to 7, in the third quarter Holmes blocked a punt around the 18 yard line and eventually scores to make the score 20 to 7. In the 4 th, Boyd scores to make it a 20 to 15 game. A late score on a nice 40 to 50 yard run seals the game for Holmes. Unofficially T. Calloway had 66 yds and Q. Calloway a 103, good luck to Boyd, onto Cynthania next week for Holmes for another road district game.
