Tiger QB Adam Boone had 3 TD passes to WR Jackson Campisano. DB Aeric Malubay scored with a pick 6. Trinity QB was fast and shifty because he was able to evade multiple times Tigers in the backfield. I was impressed with him.

This score is not nearly the same as last year's freshmen games. A lot of Juniors, T improvement, or what?

The studs off frosh team last year are on Varsity so don’t play JV. Trinity QB was fast and was able scramble out of sacks which also helped Trinity. JV often isn’t good indicator because of good players up with varsity. Juniors are also a factor. A lot of factors in JV games where as freshman just playing against freshman.

What Tigerpride said...JV rosters typically change week to week. I would imagine both teams had some juniors play down, and in terms of St. X some of top players from their freshman team, like their DL is on the varsity roster. That Trinity QB did a really good job of extending plays, especially in the first half.
