For all  you  Covington Catholic fans out there,  is Michael   Mayer  expected  to  see any action today?

For today's game, he's 3rd on the depth chart. I know Kelly normally goes 2 deep at TE. If ND blows out Duke, you could see him a bit late in the game. 

 

I saw just a little of the first half and he caught a nice pass.         BTW,  ND leads 10-6 at  half.

Michael Mayer getting a lot of reps on Notre Dame's last TD drive, looked good out there on a block or two as well.  He still looks bigger than most at the college level too.

Michael Mayer had 3 catches for 38 yards.
