Ja Morant Wins Rookie of the Year

I know we have another thread on the young stud where this announcement was made, but this deserves its own. It is surreal having a Murray State Racer taking home this honor. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Ja.

Morant was a near unanimous selection. One bozo voted for Zion Williamson who played 1/4 of the NBA season on limited (granted, tremendous) minutes. Kendrick Nunn came in second, Zion third. Rounding out the top 8 was Brandon Clark, Coby White, Eric Paschall, Terrence Davis II, and RJ Barrett. I would have had Herro in the mix.

Herro’s injury during the season that made him miss a few weeks, is what hurt him in the voting. Or else he probably would have been higher up in the voting.
