Randy Parker
For what it's worth, I think the Polar Bears will finally get Mason County sooner rather than later. But it has indeed been a while. Mason County is and should be consistently better than Bracken County. But the Polar Bears have had a few prime opportunities to get a W here and there, only to have come up short. Last year's debacle at Mason County in the District really sticks out. As a Polar Bear myself, I honestly feel like there's not a winning mentality there--at least on the boys side of things--and particularly when it comes to Mason County. It was there in my day and I believe it still is. Conversely, Mason County always expects to beat Bracken County and they have a winner's pedigree. A coach will have to break through that in order to get the much-desired victory over the Royals. Adam Reed was a key player, I believe, on the last Bracken County team to beat Mason County. Perhaps he can do the same as a coach. I certainly wish him the best.
