The Northern Kentucky Boys Basketball Coaches Association gathered for their annual "Breakfast Meeting" Saturday morning in Erlanger.

There, they determined the divisional Players of the Year, and members ot the All-Star teams.

This is the list of Division II recipients:

Player of the Year - Sam Vinson - Highlands

All-Stars (In alphabetical order):

Jude Bessler (St. Henry), Tres Calloway (Holmes), Treshawn Cody (Lloyd), Will Downton (Beechwood), Ethan Eilerman (Brossart) Scotty Draud (Beechwood), Jacob Meyer (Holy Cross), Luke Mueller (Highlands), Evan Mulliken (NCC), Wyatt, Vieth (St. Henry), and DeShawn White (Newport).

Defensive POY - Jack Delagrange (Highlands)

Mr. Hustle: Cody Shea (St.Henry)

Academic: Brandon Hughes (Beechwood)

Player of the Year - Division I - Grant Disken (Covington Catholic)

Co Players of the Year - Division III - Ian Vallandingham (Ludlow) and Cross Dugan (Calvary)

Someone else will have to post the Division I and the Division III All-Stars.

An election for the 9th Region Player of the Year will be conducted among 9th Region coaches following the conclusion of the 9th Region Tournament.

The Mike Swauger Scholarship Winner will also be announced at a later date.

The date and time for the NKBBCA Banquet will be Sunday, March 15th at Lloyd Memorial High School at 1pm.

Luke Mueller is actually spelled Muller.

The entry should read:

Luke Muller (Highlands)

How long have there been "divisions" in NKY? What are the criteria for being in I, II or III?

Mr. Hustle to Cory Shea? I don’t know Cody Shea.

Congratulations and well deserved!

OK, my note taking leaves something to be desired.

Apologies to Cory Shea. Our game with St. Henry was cancelled, ergo not familiar with Mr. Shea.

The NKBBCA Divisions correspond to the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference divisions which have been in existence since the early 90s.

Big schools - Division I

Mid-Majors - Division II (which includes Lloyd, who is not a NKAC member)

Small Schools - Division III

Congratulations to all these boys....great job!
