Game is at Covington Catholic. Tip is in a few minutes.

2020 Northern Kentucky JV Tournament

9-2 Highlands with about 3-1/2 minutes left in the 1Q.

14-8 Highlands with a minute and a half left in the 1Q.

The Birds are hot from beyond the arc. Two or three LONG three-pointers.

20-10 Highlands at the end of the 1Q.

28-18 Highlands.

Cov Cath doesn't even appear to be attempting to rebound.

34-24 Highlands with 1:49 left in the half.

39-26 Highlands at the half.

The first half was VERY physical and fast-paced. Not a lot of foul calling at all, and Highlands was blowing it up from 3-point land.

The Birds are 100% driving the pace of the game. Cov Cath was on their heels the entire time, and needs to get some boards if they want any kind of chance at coming back in the second half.

The Bluebirds are smokin' hot from beyond the arc. Practicing sharpshooting at the Armory I wonder?
