As an observer of local basketball I can say that Daugherty has reached double figures in the first 3 games, 15 @ Henry , 18 @ Gallatin , 29 @ Grant , I also saw him this summer put 36 pts against D Smith's All Stars {against the great Coleman } at a tournament in Florence when he played on the Royals team. Kid is not huge but can usually score if he gets the ball . Not related . Wish Walton the best of luck tonight. Hope to get some scoring from their shooters which has not been there all year .

I think what Farbeyonddriven is getting at, is that Franklin Daugherty is a very nice player. He is very tough to guard if he has the right mix of talent around him. I just feel that he is over hyped particulary by Spilly Willy, but by that I don't want to take anything from away from his game. He can score when given the oppurtunity but his "littles" tend to have trouble getting him the ball in the right spots.

I do not think he is close to Mr. Basketball but he is the number one threat for Walton. I do hope Walton wins tonight but I think Daugherty will have 15 but Bray will most likly 25-30. And I will pick Boone by ten.
