newarkcatholicfan Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 This Ohio Valley Conference game was one of the bigger mismatches I have watched this season. Belmont (13-5, 4-1 Conf) did as they pleased against an over matched Eastern Kentucky (6-12, 3-2 Conf) squad, with the end result being a 31 point win. Belmont shot 47.1% from the field compared to just 31.3% from the Colonels. The winners hit 72.@% of their free throws compared to just 46.7% for the losers. Leading Belmont in the win was, Nick Muszynski (Pickerington, OH) 16 points, 8 boards and 4 assists. Adam Kunkel (Hebron, Ky) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Coming off of the bench to score 12 points and grab 8 boards was, Seth Adelsperger (Peru, IN). In all 11 of the 13 players who took the floor for Belmont scored. For Eastern Kentucky, Jomaru Brown (Raleigh, NC) had 25 points, 5 boards and 4 assists. Tre King (Lexington, KY) added 10 points.
ErnestTBass Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Didn't like the way EKU played at all. Seemed like every possession was 1 pass and a forced contested jumper. Ugly basketball.
