8th Region All A Semifinal

 

Gallatin pulled away in the 4th to earn a spot in the championship game against host Williamstown.

Jarin Rassman scored 13 of his 21 points in the 4th, including 11 of 13 from the charity stripe. Gage Ashcraft added 11.

The state’s leading scorer, Wyatt Supplee, severely sprained his ankle early in the second quarter. He managed to score 11 of his team high 13 points in the second half.

Yeah, Gallatin County pulls off the win, but it was a ugly game. Lets move forward.

Terrible news about Supplee. Hope the injury isn't as severe as described above. He's having a heck of a senior season; hope it's not cut short.

Supplee was a real trooper down the stretch. Was very clear that he was in a lot of pain but he left it all out on the court. Carroll loses to Gallatin twice in the week, third time on the year, and 6th time in the past 2 seasons. The kids on Carroll have never beaten Gallatin and I’m sure that’s stinging. If they get the chance to play them for a district championship with a healthy Wyatt Supplee that will be a lot of fun to watch.
