It's been a while, but perhaps the Trojans will have a say once again in regards to who wins the Fourth....?

I watched a decent amount of the game online. Barren County controlled most of the first two and a half quarters outside a couple of Bowling Green spurts. They built an 11 point lead in the third quarter, and then went completely cold while Bowling Green began to pound it into the paint and on the baseline. Barren County messed up in trying to hold for the last shot, shot too early, and Bowling Green got a layup at the buzzer for the lead, and never trailed again.

 

For Barren County's part, they still had multiple chances to tie the game late, including a three point attempt with less than five seconds. That was despite the fact that they made only three field goals in the final 13 minutes. They were in the game, they just could not get a basket. Bowling Green has scored less than 60 points only four times this season, and they've won three of those matchups. The only one they lost was to Greenwood, and they play them Friday. Greenwood has held them to 42 and 58 points.
