If you share a field soccer players tend to kick them around when they get bored. There are things that put in the ground to mark gas lines and the such. They are designed so you can mow over them and they are fine. You can buy the sports versions but the prices are often jacked up due to the audience. They do shift and can often just disappear in really thick grass. We installed a set (which is a difficult process) 5 years ago and probably have over a dozen that are nowhere to be found. They are still useful, but we still mostly rely on using the string kit with tabs that mark every yard and hashes/numbers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
