December 30, 20196 yr Does anyone believe we will see changes in the Bengals' coaching staff? I am sure Zac Taylor will be here next year. However, Taylor was hired late and had limited options when he put his staff together. Might the Bengals take advantage of the expanded coaching pool in the next few weeks and make some changes? Working against this option is that the Bengals usually sign their coaches to 2 year contracts. If that is the case with the current coaches then it will amost certainly be the status quo for next season.
December 31, 20196 yr Would love to see them sign Bill Callahan on as offensive line coach, if/when he's released by the Skins. Granted, the current guy was always dealing with a carousel of lineups, but I think Callahan would also be a good one there for Taylor's sake too.

I doubt it will be Turner though, which a lot of people on Twitter seemed to want. At the end of the day Turner I think did a decent job. He realized that Billy Price just isn’t a NFL starter. It didn’t matter they used a first round pick on him one year ago, he went with Hopkins. I don’t think that happens with the previous regime. Bobby Hart while still not good, didn’t have all his false starts this year and wasn’t horrible. As long as he wasn’t up against an elite rusher like Watt for the Steelers he did average. They were also able to fix the run game too. I’m not sure what the overall grades were, but I think the line this year actually was better than last year even with all the injuries. Defensively I know they didn’t get the DC the wanted. However, he took basically the same defensive players from the year before that almost set a record for how bad they were, and honestly had them playing much better the second half of the year. Which I think as we seen with the offense decides to be decent it helps. So it may be weird for a 2 and 14 team to not make many changes. However, I don’t think we will see them make many changes and honestly I don’t think they should. The only real change I wouldn’t have mind seeing was having someone else call the plays.
