Just call it like I see it. Oklahoma has played nothing but close games against average teams for the past month and a half. Nothing they do impresses me besides CeeDee Lamb just being an absolute stud.

 

The same can be said about every team you said you would take over them. All those teams don’t have anything that truly stands out. The difference is those teams you listed found away to lose not just one but two games. While Oklahoma in their close games found ways to win them, and not lose them. Finding a way to win is definitely more impressive than the teams you listed finding ways to lose not one but two games.

Obviously. But that’s all we heard about with Ohio State last year and it was a valid argument then and it should be a valid argument now when discussing Oklahoma.

 

Ohio State got curb stomped by a bad team last year. They didn’t lose a close game, they got dominated during the game and in the final score. Those curb stompings is what kept them out the last two years. It is normal to see a top team maybe have an off day and lose a close game to a team they have no business losing to. It is not normal to see a top team get destroyed by a team who barely finished 500. I am not sure why that is so hard for you OSU fans to realize. If that doesn’t happen and OSU simply loses close games. There is a good chance they are in the last two years or if anything one of the last two years.

He was being sarcastic, because Oklahoma is a team he doesn’t think highly of. Yet the teams he thinks more highly of found ways to lose more games than Oklahoma. So that post by him was a sarcastic post by him. Rather than admitting that while Oklahoma is not a great team, they probably are the best out of the rest behind the top three teams.

2 games and you’re done. I don’t disagree or have an issue with Oklahoma being in. It’s the only logical choice. There is zero reason for any other team to be in the playoff over Oklahoma. That doesn’t mean that if you asked me to put money on Oklahoma to beat any of those teams I don’t think I could do it.

Nope didn’t forget at all. Oklahoma up 17 to 7 after the first quarter, tied at halftime. K State has a big third quarter going up by 17 and Oklahoma comes back to lose by a touchdown. As much as you may want it to be, no where near the curb stomping OSU took the last two years to 500 level teams. Oklahoma ended up losing like a top team does when they have an off day, losing a game by a possession. Which is what I have tried to tell you for the last year that is the biggest difference. OSU got beat down, which you don’t see happen to top teams again 500 level teams. If OSU would have baffled back to make a game of it to have a chance at the end in a one possession game. They wouldn’t have been penalized like they were for those loses. I know once again you don’t agree, but the fact of the matter is how they lost made the difference and the difference between those losses by OSU and Oklahoma.
