December 4, 20196 yr If Tua doesn't get hurt, they beat Auburn 2/3 TD's and this conversation never exists. Could any of the current 4 teams in the playoffs lose their Starting QB, play top level opponents and be in the conversation either? This. The end.
December 4, 20196 yr Author Keeping his staff, primarily his coordinators has been a challenge the last decade or so. Everyone wanted what Bama had and went after his coordinators to get their own piece of the Alabama magic. Tua's injury aside, their defense was decimated before the season started. The secondary was especially hit hard. I think it's going to come down to how much energy and drive Nick Saban has left. Does he want to continue the grind, or just go off and sell Mercedes the rest of his life.
December 4, 20196 yr In the way they were, yes. Now they’re just one of the 4-5 teams that are at the top rather than the lone pinnacle team. Still awesome but not the lonely king.
December 4, 20196 yr If not making the CFP for the first time marks the end of a dynasty, sign me up for that dynasty. This!!!! They are still the yardstick that the rest of College Football is measured against.
