December 1, 20196 yr This was a competitive game throughout and by the time all was said and done it was the mid major team getting the win over the power five conference team. Fairfield (2-6) used a 35 point effort by Landon Taliaferro (Boulder, CO) to post a much needed win over Texas A&M (3-4). Taliaferro went 10-14 on three point shots. Vincent Eze (Lagos, Nigeria) aided in the win with 10 points and 13 rebounds. For the Aggies Savion Flagg (Alvin, TX) led the way with 17 points and 4 rebounds.
December 2, 20196 yr I watched nearly all of this game, and watched most of the Aggies' game with Temple. Texas A&M may be the worst offensive team I've ever seen from a solid league. They can't make threes, they can't make twos, they turn it over a ton, and they don't get back any of their own misses. If it wasn't for the fact that they to have the ability to get to the line, they'd have zero chance of beating anyone decent. I can't possibly over-state how bad they are offensively. Gross. They make Mick Cronin's UC teams look like The Showtime Lakers.
