Defense for Owensboro was dominant. Many sacks, hurries, etc. WB for Fairdale hD about 1 second to unload ball. Great game Devils now on to FD.

I had the Red Devils 42-7 in the prediction thread! Spot on Red Devils!

On to Freddie D! I'm pulling for you!

Great season Fairdale! No shame losing to this Owensboro team!

Preliminary Stats:

OHS 404 yards, Fairdale 148

I would say 60-70 of Fairdale's yards came after running clock when they drove against backups and scored.

Wimsatt 204 yards passing and 2 TD's, Avery 144 yards rushing and 2 TD's. Tinsley had both receiving TD's for Owensboro.

Fairdale QB was 7-31 for 51 yards and was running for his life all night. 2 or 3 nice pass plays came late against backups.

Owensboro defense had 1 pick, several sacks and several tackles for loss (don't have those stats yet).
