New weather maps

Featured Replies

This is just to let everyone know that I have obtained access to a new weather map. It is the High-Resolution European Model. I pay a small monthly fee. I thought it would greatly benefit the members here on BGP. This model is generally considered the most accurate medium-range weather model. The acronym for the European model is ECMWF this along with the American model GFS should provide a more accurate medium-range forecast in the future.

There are also some other new maps I have access to now that I will be using in the future.

So to show everyone what it looks like here is what the ECMWF is showing for rain possibilities from Thursday morning through Friday morning this week. Also, I'm including a temperature map along with precipitation total map for the same time period.

The latest European model is showing the possibility of maybe up to a 1/2 inch of snow Thursday evening. Now let me say this is very preliminary so we'll just have to see as we get closer.
